Project Manager - Public Safety - Remote

Overview

NEC is looking for an external client-facing Project Manager to oversee large-scale software implementations for Public Safety, ensuring project delivery within budget and deadlines.

In Short

• Manage client implementations of Public Safety software from contract to go-live.
• Track deadlines, milestones, and processes to ensure quality delivery.
• Coordinate resources from internal and external teams.
• Handle escalations and address project issues promptly.
• Attend and run internal boards with senior stakeholders.
• Represent NEC in customer meetings.
• Maintain adherence to the NEC delivery budget.
• Ability to undergo SC clearance is essential.
• Positive work ethic with willingness to work extended hours.
• Strong commercial awareness and reporting skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a project manager for software implementations.
• Thorough understanding of project management techniques.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and project management software.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Degree or equivalent preferred.
• PRINCE2 practitioner.
