Associate Technical Consultant (Document Management) - Remote

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically enthusiastic candidate to join an innovative and market leading team. You'll be part of the Electronic Document Management (EDM) technical consultancy team whose primary role is to maintain EDM application software for our hosted customers.

In Short

• Apply application software upgrades, patching, and technical application support for hosted customer document management solutions.
• Assist with customer on-premises upgrades when demand requires.
• Respond to customer support calls relating to upgrades and installations.
• Maintain and manage pre-sales, training, and test applications.
• Configure systems to support business design.
• Facilitate good working relationships across teams and optimize efficiency.
• Delivery of allocated project tasks to budget and timescales for on-premise customers.
• Support the improvement of technical and installation documentation.
• Report any requirements that are not available to have the skills to do the job expected.
• Be aware of who the point of escalation is for customers relating to technical delivery.

Requirements

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Configuring and understanding EDM products.
• Technical implementation of software solutions in UK Government Departments.
• Successful EDM software installations at various levels of scale.
• Working with SQL Server, IIS, and infrastructure setup and configuration.
• Working as part of a technical team.
• Understanding technical delivery and providing recommendations for improvement.
