Senior Associate Technical Consultant, Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

AHEAD is looking for a Technical Consultant Data Engineer to work closely with our dynamic project teams (both on-site and remotely). This Data Engineer will be responsible for hands-on engineering of Data platforms that support our clients’ advanced analytics, data science, and other data engineering initiatives.

In Short

• Build, operationalize and monitor data processing systems.
• Create robust and automated pipelines for data ingestion and processing.
• Implement custom applications using cloud native tools.
• Engineer and support data structures including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Maintain ELT processes for loading data lakes.
• Deliver testable, maintainable, and modern data solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.
• Work with scrum team members to estimate and deliver work.
• Research data questions and interact with business users.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional technical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Data Warehousing experience.
• 3+ years of experience building scalable data solutions.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud environments (Azure).
• 2 years of experience in Redshift.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
