Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

This is a contract full-time remote opportunity for those based in Romania, where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support scalable and reliable applications.

In Short

• Develop and manage cloud-based infrastructure on Azure.
• Create and maintain deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Design high-availability and fault-tolerant solutions for applications.
• Implement monitoring frameworks, including dashboards and alerts.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Ensure security best practices across CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize system performance through observability.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps processes.
• Engage in technical discussions with stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of commercial experience as a Senior Engineer.
• Experience in an agile environment.
• Strong experience managing cloud-based infrastructure on Azure.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Scripting expertise, preferably in Python.
• Experience with observability tools.
• Solid understanding of security best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
