Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Gradient AI is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build functional systems that enhance customer experience in a fully remote setting.

In Short

• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Understand stakeholder needs and convey them to developers.
• Design, automate, and improve development and release processes.
• Develop, update, and manage Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensure systems are safe against cybersecurity threats.
• Identify technical problems and develop software updates.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure proper development processes.
• Map out projects and participate in project management decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure management.
• Ability to work with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security.
• Proficient in scripting for automation.
• Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP + OSI model layers 3 - 7).
