SQL Database Administrator II - Remote

Overview

The SQL Database Administrator II is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring database environments to ensure efficient and effective operations in collaboration with software development, data engineering, and QA teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SQL Server experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, TSQL, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with MySQL and Postgres is preferred.
• Experience with AWS services like RDS and EC2.
• Knowledge of source control systems like GitHub.
• Understanding of SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery technologies.
• Strong SQL Server administration skills.
• Experience with SQL Server debugging and tracing.
• Familiarity with full-text search and XML in SQL Server.
• Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
