Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will drive the development of high-impact systems and services for Fandango's rewards and promotional platforms, collaborating across disciplines and mentoring teammates.

In Short

Design and maintain scalable web applications for Fandango Rewards.
Develop internal and public APIs.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern JavaScript (Node.js).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for exceptional user experiences.
Lead technical design discussions and code reviews.
Troubleshoot complex production issues.
Mentor junior developers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies.
Contribute to DevOps processes.

Requirements

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with RESTful API design.
Familiarity with AWS.
Experience with microservice architecture.
Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Solid foundation in networking and application security principles.
