Overview

Fandango is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our Mobile Engineering team. The Mobile Engineering group develops cutting-edge features for Fandango and various Versant properties. These features power customer-facing applications and extend services to movie enthusiasts.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers.
• Lead architectural discussions to ensure scalable and maintainable applications.
• Conduct code reviews and write tests to ensure high-quality code.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with mobile development tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in Android mobile application development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Google Play Libraries.
• Understanding of native Android development and performance optimization.
• Experience in continuous integration and testing best practices.
• Ability to architect scalable and secure mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Google Play submission processes.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend service integration.
• Skills in version control systems (Git).
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
