Overview

The Crisis Advocate will provide essential support to individuals affected by relationship abuse, offering emotional support and resources to empower survivors.

In Short

  • Respond to incoming calls from survivors and supporters.
  • Provide confidential emotional support and resources.
  • Assist callers in exploring safety options.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls and information.
  • Participate in mandatory training and meetings.
  • Work-from-home position with equipment provided.
  • Available shifts include days, evenings, and overnight hours.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in customer service or related fields.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom.
  • Knowledge of intimate partner violence dynamics.
  • Ability to respond with empathy and compassion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and respectful attitude.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
