Overview

The Bilingual Education Specialist I plays a vital role in empowering individuals, families, and support networks affected by inheritable blood and bleeding disorders through the development and delivery of dynamic bilingual educational content.

In Short

  • Execute live education events, including planning logistics and recruiting speakers.
  • Collaborate with chapters and Hemophilia Treatment Centers on local educational events.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations in both Spanish and English.
  • Create diverse educational content in various formats for online platforms and live delivery.
  • Coordinate with consultants for content editing and development.
  • Support the assessment of educational programs and compile outcome reports.
  • Maintain proactive communication with supervisors and collaborators.
  • 2+ years of experience in public health or community service environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in public speaking and presentation skills required.
  • Familiarity with project management, program development, and execution.
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with and influence diverse groups of people.
  • Proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software tools.
