Senior Software Engineer in Test - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer in Test is responsible for developing and maintaining software automation test frameworks and tools using programming languages and test automation libraries.

In Short

• Support test infrastructure of Natera software systems and components.
• Design, build, and maintain test automation tools and frameworks.
• Perform end-to-end validation of software applications.
• Develop strong test strategies through product design analysis.
• Promote new testing methodologies and tools.
• Integrate with deployment infrastructure for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers throughout the SDLC.
• Document and communicate testing failures.
• Handle PHI in compliance with HIPAA training.
• Complete training on Natera requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation frameworks.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Scala and/or Java.
• Experience with REST API testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with front-end automation tools.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases.
• Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and test planning.
