Senior Software Engineer in Test - Clinical Genomics - Remote

Overview

Natera is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test - Clinical Genomics responsible for developing and maintaining software automation test frameworks and tools for the Tertiary Analysis platform. This position can be 100% remote or in San Carlos, CA or Austin, TX (10% on-site, 90% remote).

• Maintain and support test infrastructure for software systems.
• Develop and maintain test automation tools and frameworks.
• Perform end-to-end validation of software applications.
• Conduct system analysis and develop effective test strategies.
• Promote new testing methodologies and best practices.
• Integrate with deployment infrastructure for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with developers throughout the SDLC.
• Document and communicate testing failures.
• Work with PHI in both paper and electronic forms.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in test automation frameworks.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and other programming languages.
• Experience with REST API testing and automation tools.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases.
• Knowledge of Linux and command line scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and observability.
• Understanding of QA methodologies and test planning.
