Natera is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test - Clinical Genomics responsible for developing and maintaining software automation test frameworks and tools for the Tertiary Analysis platform. This position can be 100% remote or in San Carlos, CA or Austin, TX (10% on-site, 90% remote).

In Short

Maintain and support test infrastructure for software systems.
Develop and maintain test automation tools and frameworks.
Perform end-to-end validation of software applications.
Conduct system analysis and develop effective test strategies.
Promote new testing methodologies and best practices.
Integrate with deployment infrastructure for continuous testing.
Collaborate with developers throughout the SDLC.
Document and communicate testing failures.
Work with PHI in both paper and electronic forms.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in test automation frameworks.
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of Java and other programming languages.
Experience with REST API testing and automation tools.
Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases.
Knowledge of Linux and command line scripting.
Experience with CI/CD tools and observability.
Understanding of QA methodologies and test planning.
