Overview

The Technical Design Authority for Secure Networks is responsible for leading the technical design and delivery of customer network transformations, particularly in SD-WAN and SASE implementations.

In Short

  • Lead technical designs for SD-WAN and SASE projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise and public-sector customers.
  • Own Low Level Design and Migration Runbooks.
  • Guide engineers and manage project scopes.
  • Ensure quality of build and transition into service.
  • Conduct customer workshops to align technical decisions with business drivers.
  • Define security policies and ensure designs are operable.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and design standards.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales on architecture and delivery estimates.
  • Mentor engineers and influence delivery patterns.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading multi-site SD-WAN/SASE transformations.
  • Strong relationships with enterprise or public-sector customers.
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN/SASE technologies.
  • Proficient in routing protocols and firewalling principles.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer engagement.
  • Ability to balance strategic and tactical project needs.
  • Experience in conducting design workshops.
  • Certifications in Fortinet and Cisco/Juniper are preferred.
  • Exposure to Operational Technology security is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud and edge solutions.
