Overview

The Tech Lead Data Engineer will lead a growing data team, collaborating with various roles to design and develop data pipelines using AWS services.

• Lead the design and development of data pipelines (ETL) using AWS services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Data Engineers and Analysts.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect on data models and integration patterns.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance.
• Implement CI/CD, automation, and monitoring for data workflows.
• Drive technical decision-making regarding performance and scalability.
• 7–10 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven track record designing data pipelines in AWS environments.
• Strong expertise in data modeling and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS services: Lambda, Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena.
• General AWS Cloud expertise including IAM and automation.
• Advanced level experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience in pharma data models or validated systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with data governance tools.
