Overview

The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our organization as a Program Manager within the Center for Advancing Healthy Communities (CAHC) to manage three Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-funded projects aimed at chronic disease prevention and health promotion.

In Short

  • Manage three CDC-funded projects focused on asthma, nutrition, and arthritis.
  • Coordinate project planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure effective communication among project teams.
  • Lead reporting for project activities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support contract management and ensure compliance with scopes of work.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration across programs.
  • Utilize systems to measure and communicate project impact.
  • Collaborate with evaluation and communication departments.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in public health program management.
  • Experience with CDC or federal agency programs.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Adept at facilitating meetings and managing multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with grant writing and management.
  • Resilient and adaptable to changing environments.
