New Jersey/New York Regional Manager - Remote

Overview

The New Jersey/New York Regional Manager is part of the Moving Traditions internal sales and education team. They are responsible for using sales strategies to engage new Moving Traditions partners and for maintaining strong relationships with existing partners in Metrowest and Northern New Jersey and the New York metropolitan region.

In Short

• Manage and build relationships with partner institutions in Metrowest and Northern New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area.
• Contribute to regional community of practice in Jewish youth professional and Jewish education networks.
• Work with national staff to sustain and maintain relationships with area federations and foundations.
• Ensure high quality programming by providing consultation and support to educators.
• Support piloting and implementation of new programming.
• Represent Moving Traditions at regional conferences and workshops.
• Ensure that CRM is up to date for tracking and reporting.
• Teach 1-2 educational programs for teens per month.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in Jewish communal service, education, or program planning.
• Strong interpersonal communications and relationship building skills.
• Experience teaching with a pluralistic approach around Israel.
• Experience working with both teens and adults.
• Independent travel throughout the Metrowest and Northern New Jersey and the New York metropolitan region.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and investment in data quality.
• Knowledge of Jewish life and a strong Jewish network.
• Experience with Salesforce or other data-tracking system is a plus.
