Moving Traditions is a nonprofit organization established in 2005 that empowers Jewish youth through self-discovery, challenges to sexism, and a commitment to Jewish life and learning. By partnering with synagogues, JCCs, camps, and other institutions, Moving Traditions trains clergy and educators to implement innovative programs aimed at fostering a more inclusive understanding of gender and identity among Jewish youth. The organization has positively impacted over 40,000 Jewish youth and trained more than 2,650 adults through various programs, including the B-Mitzvah Family Education Program and specialized teen groups. Moving Traditions is dedicated to creating a vibrant and engaging Jewish community that supports the growth and flourishing of all pre-teens and teens.
