Overview

The Instructional Assistant Special Education is responsible for providing academic and community-based support to Special Education students, monitoring their progress, and assisting teachers with various instructional and clerical tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working with students in a special education setting preferred.
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Valid California Driver’s License and insurance required.
• State and federal background clearance required.
• Clear TB test required upon employment.
