Instructional Content Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Instructional Content Specialist will develop Ellevation’s first benchmark ELP assessment, collaborating with content specialists and contributing to assessment design.

In Short

• Develop benchmark ELP assessment for EL students in grades 2–12.
• Collaborate with content specialists and Education Solutions team.
• Contribute to assessment design and item development.
• Utilize knowledge of ELP Standards and Proficiency Level Descriptors.
• Deliver high-quality, research-based content.
• Participate in revision workflows with other content authors.
• Serve as a subject matter expert within the product organization.

Requirements

• Experience in K-12 education, particularly with English Learners.
• Strong editorial skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ELP Standards (WIDA, CA ELA/ELD Framework, etc.).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with assessment design and development.
• Knowledge of agile development practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
