Overview

The Customer Operations Lead will help scale and improve the support engine at Motion, managing day-to-day operations while owning systems that ensure efficient support.

In Short

  • Run the daily operations of the support team.
  • Manage and develop customer support representatives.
  • Track KPIs and drive performance improvements.
  • Build and maintain SOPs and internal tools.
  • Analyze performance trends and propose fixes.
  • Improve how we use AI in support.
  • Coordinate with engineering for bug resolutions.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new hires.
  • Design dashboards to monitor support performance.
  • Audit workflows to reduce manual work.

Requirements

  • Strong systems thinking and operational instincts.
  • Extremely organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to own ambiguous problems and drive solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fast learner comfortable with new tools.
  • Strong managerial instincts.
  • Bonus: background in support or process-heavy roles.
  • Bonus: experience with Zendesk, Intercom, Notion.
  • Bonus: SQL and Sheets fluency.
  • No ego, high ownership.
