Overview

A Managed Care Organization is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to serve as telephonic case managers for hospice validation, primarily responsible for reviewing hospice-related documentation and coordinating care.

In Short

  • Review and validate hospice documentation.
  • Contact hospice providers and members to verify and coordinate care.
  • Enter pseudo authorizations into the managed care system.
  • Report suspected fraud, waste, and abuse as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospice experience.
  • Managed care and case management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hospice regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent telephonic communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
