In Short

• Lead a growing Tax team of 8+ individuals.
• Advise on tax implications of new business developments.
• Ensure compliance and optimization in tax practices.
• Manage Corporation Tax, VAT, Employment Tax, and more.
• Coach and develop the tax team.
• Participate in Finance Leadership Team initiatives.
• Identify and act on relevant legislative changes.
• Work autonomously and tackle tasks proactively.
• Engage with stakeholders effectively.
• Contribute to Monzo's mission and growth.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant and/or tax advisor.
• Experience with UK taxes; International Tax experience is a bonus.
• Significant in-house experience, preferably in Financial Services.
• Ability to develop and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Energetic and hands-on approach.
• Passionate about Monzo's mission.
