Provisions and Forecasting Lead, Borrowing - Remote

Overview

This role is pivotal for the team as the successful candidate will build up our forecasting capabilities and tools and will have significant exposure to critical business processes such as budgeting & ICAAP.

In Short

• Leading projects on Stress Testing and Forecasting models.
• Managing business critical processes like ICAAP and Budgeting.
• Developing performance tracking and analytics tools.
• Maintaining economic-response models for scenario simulation.
• Involved in monthly provisions process and delivering outcomes to senior management.
• Reviewing and challenging modelling solutions across the Borrowing collective.
• Collaborating with portfolio strategy, finance, and external audit teams.
• Managing a team of up to 2 FTEs.

Requirements

• Strong background in IFRS9 impairments.
• Experience in developing Credit Models.
• Strong analytical skills for technical projects.
• Proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Impact-driven and eager to make a positive impact.
• Self-starter mindset.
• Team player.
