In Short

• Join the Developer Relations team at MongoDB, working remotely from South America.
• Act as a respected voice in the Django community, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Produce diverse technical content including videos, blog posts, and conference talks.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to engage the developer community.
• Maintain proficiency in Django and Python, and contribute to product improvements.
• Participate in community events and showcase expertise in Python and Django.
• Support peer reviews and create educational content for developers.
• Work with a team that values knowledge sharing and growth.
• Travel up to 10% for community events.
• Be passionate about enabling developers to be more productive.

Requirements

• Strong background in software development with a focus on Python and Django.
• Five years of technical experience, preferably as a developer.
• Experience in creating content to facilitate learning of Python and Django.
• Participate in community events and have a presence in the Django community.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for better understanding.
• Experience in advocacy roles is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for community engagement.
