Bilingual Nutrition Educator - Remote

Overview

The Nutrition Educator will provide telephonic nutrition education to members/patients with chronic conditions, helping them select, prepare, and eat foods appropriate for their conditions.

In Short

• Provide telephonic nutrition education sessions.
• Document goals and care plans from education sessions.
• Schedule follow-up calls with each member/patient.
• Develop nutrition education handouts and tools.

• Maintain and update professional knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science or Dietetics.
• Certification as a Registered Dietitian.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in nutrition education.
• Verbally fluent in Spanish.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clinical decision-making skills.
