Senior Test Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Ridepooling Intelligence domain. This role will focus on ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our backend services, contributing to key operational functions that keep our ridepooling services running smoothly and efficiently.

In Short

• Work across multiple teams, ensuring end-to-end quality of backend APIs and services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to define and maintain a strong quality strategy across multiple services.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated tests for gRPC, RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Perform automated end-to-end testing, focusing on critical workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Investigate production and integration test issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to developers and fellow QAs.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and frameworks.
• Promote a shift-left approach for earlier issue detection.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with backend test automation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Python and JVM languages.
• Experience working with microservices architecture and cloud-based deployments on AWS.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana and Kibana.
