Software Engineer 2 - Java - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer 2 - Java to join our Engineering team in India and help with the design, development and evolution of ModMed's Integrations and Interoperability Healthcare offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong Java/J2EE object-oriented design and development skills.
• Solid understanding of Web Standards (XML, Web Services, REST).
• SQL proficiency (MySQL experience is preferred).
• Familiar with JSP.
• Experience in front end technologies like Angular, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
• Strong commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Demonstrated use and knowledge of design patterns is a plus.
