Patient Claim Specialist - Remote

Join ModMed as a Patient Claim Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive patient experience within our Revenue Cycle Management team.

In Short

• Serve as primary contact for patient calls regarding balance inquiries and claims processing.
• Initiate outbound calls to address account/payment issues.
• Input and update patient account information in the Practice Management system.
• Support special projects to enhance customer/patient-facing activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to commute to Boca Raton, Florida on a hybrid basis.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration experience required.
• Basic understanding of medical billing and insurance carriers.
• Manage 60+ inbound calls per day.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to remain calm in a demanding call center environment.
