Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national family law firm, is seeking an experienced and detailed Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In Short

• Support the firm’s financial operations including general ledger activities and reconciliations.
• Perform timely bank reconciliations and maintain balance sheet integrity.
• Research and complete required state and local compliance filings.
• Assist with accounts payable processes and vendor oversight.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable team on collections and reconciliations.
• Assist the CFO and Senior Accountant with financial analysis and reporting.
• Participate in cross-training and serve as backup support for Finance team members.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
• This is a full-time, remote position.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of general ledger and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of compliance filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficient in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to perform financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-state environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Must reside in Colorado or Texas.
