Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant will be part of the growing MediBeacon Accounting & Finance team, supporting key financial functions and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

In Short

• Record sales transactions and manage A/R ledger.
• Assist with customer account setup and maintenance.
• Support other accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and Payroll.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper coding of transactions.
• Handle administrative accounting tasks.
• Work at MediBeacon Headquarters in St. Louis with some remote flexibility.
• Opportunity for growth as one of the first hires in the Finance department.
• Contribute to the commercialization of a human medical device product.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and tax rules.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Intellectually curious and adaptable.
• Strong work ethic and motivated by the company’s mission.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
• Experience with ERP system implementations is a plus.
