Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Accountant at Solace, you’ll help build the foundation of a high-integrity accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the company's growth.

In Short

• Support the monthly close by preparing journal entries, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Own core close processes such as cash, credit cards, and fixed assets.
• Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support AP/employee expense workflows and vendor inquiries.
• Create and maintain accounting SOPs and close checklists.
• Assist with audit and diligence requests.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inputs and timelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and detail-oriented.
• High ownership and reliability in completing tasks.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERPs.
• Comfort working with multi-entity and multi-department setups.
