Cyber Patching Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position fulfills a Cyber Engineering technical role. The selected candidate will develop and test patches to fix Software, Hardware, and Firmware vulnerabilities.

In Short

• Develop and test patches for vulnerabilities.
• Focus on vulnerability management and remediation.
• Install and configure Linux systems.
• Document installation and configuration steps.
• Develop test plans for software integration.
• Work with developers to diagnose issues.
• Submit problem reports and coordinate integration activities.
• Install and unit test Cyber Products.
• Document lessons learned and best practices.
• Provide feedback to Cyber Leadership.

Requirements

• Experience configuring and patching Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience with scripting and testing patches.
• Application experience with Ansible playbooks.
• Knowledge of Security Hardening on Linux.
• Technical troubleshooting of COTS software.
• Experience with Agile processes.
• Familiarity with Windows Group Policy Objects.
• Experience with Cybersecurity tools like NESSUS.
• Experience with NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls.
• Secret Clearance required.
