Consulting Architect - Remote

Overview

Mirantis is seeking a Consulting Architect to leverage technical and consultative expertise to guide clients towards strategic solutions that yield tangible business outcomes.

In Short

• Work closely with sales to demonstrate Mirantis’ solutions to clients.
• Identify business and technical alignment between customer needs and Mirantis offerings.
• Document customer requirements and business drivers.
• Conduct workshops and prepare presentation materials.
• Develop solution proposals collaboratively with sales and services teams.
• Build relationships with clients as a trusted advisor.
• Advocate for client needs within Mirantis.
• Lead delivery of services for strategic clients.
• Contribute to new product and service designs based on customer feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define service offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a client-facing role (consultant, architect, sales engineer).
• Strong communication skills, including public speaking.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes.
• Understanding of distributed systems and DevOps philosophies.
• Ability to work in a globally-distributed team.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Relevant industry and regulatory awareness.
• Experience with open source software and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated thought leadership through client interaction.
• Ability to engage with senior leadership.
