Consulting Architect - Remote

Overview

The Consulting Architect at Mirantis will leverage technical and consultative expertise to guide clients towards strategic solutions that yield significant business outcomes. This role involves collaboration with sales, services, product management, and engineering teams to ensure client success and enhance product offerings.

• Work with sales to demonstrate Mirantis' vision and solutions to clients.
• Define and document customer business drivers and technical requirements.
• Develop strategic solution proposals collaboratively with Sales and Product teams.

• Monitor service delivery progress to ensure customer success.
• Work with internal teams to define and develop service offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a client-facing role (consultant, architect, sales engineer).
• Hands-on experience with Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, including public speaking.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Practical understanding of DevOps philosophies and distributed systems.
• Experience with open source software and cloud services.
• Relevant industry awareness and understanding of competitive landscape.
• Ability to work productively in a globally-distributed team.
• High School diploma required; four-year degree preferred.
• Demonstrated thought leadership through client interaction.
