Lead/Senior QA/Test Engineer (Desktop App) - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will be the first QA in the Desktop team, responsible for improving the quality, testing, bug tracking, and observability of the Desktop application.

In Short

• Define test strategy, create plans, and author test cases.
• Design and execute automated scripts for testing.
• Gather diagnostics for defect reporting.
• Conduct manual testing for new version releases.
• Assist with troubleshooting client issues.
• Communicate with customer-facing teams for triage.
• Report issues found during feature processing.
• Mentor other engineers on automation best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with Desktop Application testing (WPF, Windows).
• Ability to set up test environments.
• Track record of designing and implementing tests.
• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET stack.
• Commitment to high engineering standards.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Drive to develop skills and improve processes.
• Fluency in English with effective communication skills.
