Localization Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Localization Engineer at Milengo, you will bridge the gap between translation and technology, ensuring smooth operation of translation tools and processes while working collaboratively with internal and external clients.

In Short

• Full-time position based in Europe (remote or on-site in Poznan).
• Prepare documents and files for translation and delivery.
• Test and configure CAT tools.
• Develop scripts and tools for ENG automation.
• Collaborate with IT, MT, and Software Development teams.
• Act as internal CAT tools administrator and support.
• Document workflows and keep the ENG section updated.
• Cooperate on language asset management according to customer requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in the Localization industry as a Localization Engineer or similar.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java).
• Experience or strong interest in AI technologies and APIs.
• Knowledge of Machine Translation technologies and TMS is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Pragmatic and goal-oriented approach to work.
• Proficiency in English; some German is advantageous.
