Western National Insurance Group is seeking a Director of Underwriting for Surety Bonds to manage the underwriting function in the Western Region, focusing on profitable growth and agency management.

• Manage commercial and contract surety underwriting.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of surety underwriting.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• Ten-plus years of surety underwriting experience preferred.
• AFSB designation is a plus.
