Western National Insurance Group is seeking a Director – Underwriting, Surety to manage the commercial and contract surety underwriting function for the Western Region, focusing on profitable growth and agency management strategies.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge in surety underwriting.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven coaching and development abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Ten-plus years of surety underwriting experience preferred.
• Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) preferred.
