Legal Liability Claims Representative - Remote

Overview

Western National Insurance Group is offering an opportunity to join their Claims Department as a Claims Representative on the Legal Liability Team, focusing on handling claims for both personal and commercial coverages.

In Short

• Handle high-volume, low-to-moderate complexity claims.
• Investigate and review policy forms and documents related to claims.
• Establish and review proper reserves for each claim.
• Provide direction to outside resources.
• 3-5 years of experience in property-and-casualty insurance claims.
• Experience with personal and commercial lines of coverage.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimsCenter is a plus.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience handling claims.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of industry practices and claim concepts.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Good business judgment.
