The Environmental Specialist/Permitting Specialist will lead environmental studies and support technical engineering projects in NJ and NY, focusing on permit applications and compliance with environmental regulations.

  • 8+ years of related experience required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology or related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with NJDEP and USACE regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient with Esri, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of NEPA regulations.
  • Experience with transportation infrastructure projects is desirable.
  • Ability to conduct fieldwork in difficult terrain.
  • Proficiency with GPS systems is a plus.
  • Professional Wetland Scientist certification is a plus.
  • Bat survey experience is a plus.
