Overview

The Research Administration Specialist II implements research administration support for Federal, commercial or privately funded research activities related to research award management in both the pre-award and post-award phases.

In Short

  • Support pre-award research administration including budget study and funding tracking.
  • Assist with post-award administration such as award establishment and payment reconciliation.
  • Maintain award files and track reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external groups effectively.
  • Apply leadership and good judgement in various tasks.
  • Work in a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
  • Minimum two years of experience in clinical research administration or related fields.
  • Vocational training or equivalent experience required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum two years of experience in clinical research administration.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Experience in budget management and contract tracking.

  • Good judgement and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of award management processes.
  • Knowledge of clinical research industry.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
