Overview

The Pre-Registration Specialist works with patients to confirm relevant information prior to service and discuss and collect on patient liabilities providing the best in class customer service to ensure a patient friendly experience.

Requirements

  • One year of post high school business or college course work preferred.
  • National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service preferred.
  • Proficiency in Medical Terminology by exam.
  • One year admitting, billing, or registration experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Graduate of a health vocational program or AA Degree with healthcare experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
