Overview

The Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologist is responsible for conducting routine and special END procedures, impacting the lives of patients through compassionate care.

In Short

  • Conduct routine and special END procedures including EEG, EMG, and AFT.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure equipment is clean and functional.
  • Follow established protocols in the Electroneurodiagnostics Department.
  • Engage in self-development and enhance professional competency.
  • Perform other job functions as assigned.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Electroneurodiagnostics preferred.
  • Must have Basic Life Support certification.
  • Positive interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Physical demands include medium work and patient contact.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1-3 years experience in Electroneurodiagnostics.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification required.
  • Basic mathematics and computer skills required.
  • Ability to work scheduled nights, holidays, and weekends on-call.
  • Strong balance and coordination are necessary.
  • Close visual acuity for patient assessment and data analysis.
  • Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
  • Frequent patient contact and exposure to bodily fluids.
  • Commitment to high standards of care and teamwork.
