Overview

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic procedures, ensuring high-quality exams and effective patient interaction within the Mass General Brigham Medical Group.

In Short

• Perform outpatient CT exams.
• Consult with providers for proper exam administration.
• Review images for quality and identification.
• Check patient history and obtain necessary waivers.
• Establish rapport with patients to understand service requirements.
• Work under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Prioritize patient care and quality in all procedures.
• May perform procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Ensure compliance with medical imaging standards.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• New Hampshire State Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Proficiency with CT imaging software.
• Ability to start IVs for contrast studies.
• Experience with EPIC software preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to keep up-to-date with technical knowledge.
• Knowledge of office procedures and systems.
