Overview

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform various diagnostic procedures related to the nervous system, ensuring accuracy and quality of results for patient care.

In Short

  • Perform electroencephalograms (EEGs) and electromyograms (EMGs).
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures safely.
  • Analyze test results and provide initial interpretations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
  • Stay current with neurodiagnostic technologies.
  • Conduct routine and sleep-deprived EEGs.
  • Experience in intraoperative EEG and Evoked Potential monitoring preferred.
  • Complete an accredited course in EEG technology.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion in healthcare.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of intraoperative EEG and Evoked Potential monitoring experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostic testing.
  • Experience with neonatal and pediatric EEG.
  • CPR and REEGT certification required within 18 months of hire.
  • Willingness to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
