Drupal Developer - Remote

Overview

MetaPhase is seeking an experienced Drupal Developer to join a federal IT modernization team responsible for enhancing and maintaining a mission-critical public-facing website. This role involves both front-end and back-end development, working on a variety of tasks including site maintenance, enhancements, and integrating other agency applications and databases.

In Short

• Participate in development tasks across both front-end and back-end of Drupal websites.
• Transform user requirements into fully functional web solutions.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other core web technologies.
• Customize and extend Drupal with custom modules.

• Implement and maintain analytics tools.
• Ensure adherence to web accessibility and security standards.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in web development with expertise in Drupal.
• Expertise in developing custom Drupal modules.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS/SCSS/SASS, SQL, and PHP.
• Proficient in working with Drupal templating engines like Twig.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards and security best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Exceptional communication abilities and problem-solving skills.
