Senior Business Intelligence Developer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer supports and expands PG&E’s business intelligence solution(s), playing a critical role in all phases of the solution’s lifecycle.

In Short

• Develop, test, and document SQL procedures and reports.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
• Optimize performance and strengthen documentation for scalability.
• Create scheduled and on-demand reports for a self-service environment.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with IT to align technical strategy with enterprise roadmap.
• Support fundraising strategy through data analysis.
• Maintain SQL Server data warehouse and ETL processes.
• Cross-train in essential functions for business continuity.
• Participate in ongoing learning and development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and reporting development.
• Strong experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to handle confidential materials and sensitive information.
• Python experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of fundraising data preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing customized reports.
• Ability to adapt in a collaborative environment.
