• Join the AML Investigations team to detect suspicious activity and conduct thorough investigations.
• Handle transaction monitoring queues with a focus on risk and user experience.
• Review AML alerts and take necessary actions.
• Contact users for information regarding their account usage.
• Document findings and escalate suspicious activities.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence on high-risk users.
• Develop understanding of user activity and business banking.
• Implement new transaction monitoring rules.
• Write clear documentation and assist in training.
• Investigate tools to enhance job efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience in identifying money laundering and detecting fraud in financial services.
• Fluency in bank transactions including ACH, checks, and wire transfers.
• Understanding of the business banking landscape.
• Excellent communication skills with users.
• Ability to manage relationships with external parties.
• Organizational skills for managing tasks efficiently.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to improve processes.
• Curiosity about the US banking system and startups.
