Education Content Developer (Brazilian Portuguese) - Remote

Overview

Mercor is seeking native Brazilian Portuguese speakers who are also education professionals based in Brazil. This role combines your teaching and education expertise across a wide variety of different subjects with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the education domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex nuances in education workflows and processes in Brazil.
• Write fluently in both Portuguese and English, ensuring precise education terminology.
• Provide cultural insights specific to the Brazilian education system.
• Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content and validate accuracy.
• Remote and asynchronous role with flexible scheduling.
• Commitment of at least 20 hours per week for around 2 months.
• Submit resume and complete AI-led interviews for assessment.
• Complete a paid work trial to determine fit for the role.
• Experience with rubric development is a plus.
• Familiarity with generative AI models is a bonus, but not required.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese with strong written and spoken English.
• Advanced degree in Teaching, Pedagogy, or a related field.
• 2–6+ years of professional experience teaching in Brazil.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
