Legal Content Developer - Brazilian Portuguese - Remote

Overview

Mercor is seeking native Brazilian Portuguese speakers who are also legal professionals based in Brazil. This role combines your legal expertise across a wide variety of different subjects with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the legal domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex nuances in legal practices in Brazil.
• Write fluently in both Portuguese and English.
• Provide cultural insights specific to the Brazilian legal system.
• Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content.
• This is a remote and asynchronous role.
• Expect to contribute at least 20 hours per week.
• Commitment of around 2 months.
• Complete an AI-led interview to assess language ability.
• Take a follow-up AI-led interview to assess professional background.
• Complete a paid work trial to determine suitability.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese with strong English skills.
• Advanced degree in Law.
• 2–6+ years of practicing law in Brazil.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with assessment and rubric development is a plus.
• Familiarity with generative AI models is a bonus.
